Did anyone else feel like October was never going to end?
Pink gave us a remix album this month and it went double platinum in my studio and bedroom. This remix of ‘Stateside’ featuring one of the G.O.A.T.s, Kylie Minogue, was my most played track this month.
I finally caught up with the fourth season of ‘Hacks’ when I had a week-long break from work earlier this month. I know season 5 will be its last but I wish this show never ends.
Lily Allen’s music is one of my guiltiest pleasures. This is such a true blue return to form that I couldn’t not sit and watch as she massacred her ex-husband, actor David Harbour, in her concept album, West End Girl. I love the album in its entirety but the standout tracks to me are “Pussy Palace” (you’ll get over the cringe and be grabbed by its catchiness), “Tennis”, “Dallas Major” and “Fruityloop”.
I couldn’t finish the album but I really do like this song. I think I’ve long outgrown Taylor Swift but I can still appreciate how visually stunning this music video is.
