With how much I love this formula and this shade in particular, it’s weird how I’m just now getting to writing a dedicated post.
ROM&ND has been featured on the blog many times, and I’ve loved their products for a long time. I recently saw how Min Saerom-nim, their co-founder, pulled out of the brand to spearhead a different company, and I’m interested in seeing how they progress without her. Her videos were the reason I discovered the brand, and it’s wild to see how far this brand has come. It’s incredibly popular locally and internationally. As for this product, I think the fact that I’m on my second bottle despite having five dozen other lip products is a testament to just how much I enjoy this product (and this shade in particular).
There’s nothing much to write about it in terms of its packaging. It’s a standard lip tint component with a standard doe-foot applicator.
The formula is a gel-gloss hybrid tint. Super smooth, coats the lips beautifully and leaves a juicy, glossy finish behind. Since it’s a tint, it does stain the lips. It’s pigmented and opaque enough to cover your the natural tone of your lips in one layer. The more layers you build, the darker the shade gets.
I love how glossy and juicy the finish is, honestly. It’s comfortable and easy to apply. That being said, they really have poor lasting power. With how glossy it is, that comes as no surprise. The stain it leaves behind also doesn’t tend to last long. You’ll have to reapply it after every sip, munch, kiss and more. It’s that fallible.
I would nitpick any other product to high heavens if it showed the same flaws in longevity and performance. This is where my bias for this product comes into play – this shade. THIS SHADE. It’s just so gorgeous to me that I forgive its flaws. I don’t mind its fruity scent much either.
‘25 Bare Grape’ is a globally popular and beloved shade. It was a part of their “Bare” series. This muted cool-toned beige pink makes me sing. It’s gorgeous. It’s stunning. I love how it looks on me. It’s such a beautiful shade that every time I use other tints, I wish I were using this instead. I’m being slightly dramatic but I truly love the shade.
The shade range in this product is so varied and interesting that I can guarantee you’d find at least a couple of shades that will strike your fancy. Just remember that you’ll have to keep re-applying them even if a slight breeze brushes your lips.
∴ I think these are worth a look, again, because of their wide line-up of shades. Or just try ‘25 Bare Grape’ . Just make sure you grab them during a sale.
