I’m back with another “Double Trouble” post, guys. I noticed similarities between these two eyeshadows and immediately began a comparison. It’s finally seeing the light of day today!
As you can see from the swatches, they both offer a very similar glittery sheen. I say sheen because they don’t look like most pearl eyeshadows that tend to have larger and chunkier glitter particles.
Both of these formulas are very smooth and have, erm, more sophisticated glitters running through them. Depending on how big of an impact you want your eye makeup to make, you can tune these to your taste. What I mean by that is, you can either add a little for some subtle shimmer or pack it on to make it bolder and more obvious.
Both the formulas (or formulae, I should say) are top-notch. They are creamy and adhere to the lids very well and last for a good amount of time.
The Addiction eyeshadows have more colour variants in the lovely Pearl formula. ‘Miss You More’ is one of their most popular shades and it’s easy to see why. I tend to use it whenever I feel like doing a more girly look for the day. It also looks amazing over burgundy and reddish eyeshadows.
The Bobbi Brown Sparkle eyeshadow have 7 pretty variants. If used in the tiniest amount, it can definitely work as an everyday shade too. I love to use it alone in a bold manner and on more tamer makeup days, I use it sparingly in the inner corner of the eyes.
The Addiction one is a little harder to get your hands on outside of Asia and the Bobbi Brown one is quite expensive. I’d suggest you pick up whichever works for you. Both formulas (argh, formulae) are amazing.
