Review: Inglot Freedom System Eyeshadows.

Hello, everybody. In a recent post about MAC eyeshadows, it was mentioned that they were good quality eyeshadows and yet they were nowhere near as good as the eyeshadows from another brand. The brand in question is Inglot, a Polish cosmetic brand. Just why are their eyeshadow so great?

THE BACKSTORY: What I love most about Inglot is their relatively affordable prices and supreme quality. What’s even more lovable is a facility they provide known as the Freedom System. Using the Freedom System, gives you the freedom to assemble custom designed palettes to meet each and every beauty need of yours. You want a palette with only green eyeshadows? Sure, okay. You want a palette with only cream blushes and concealers? Go right ahead. You have the full freedom to put whatever you wish to into their empty palettes. It also helps that they have a million different eyeshadow colours and finishes not to mention the same amount with lipsticks, blushes, base products and what not. Go inside an Inglot store and come out empty-handed. I dare you.

THE PRODUCT: Inglot eyeshadows are some of the best you’ll find in the market. They are supremely pigmented. You get the exact colour you see on the pan; they’re that good. They’re super smooth and buttery and easy to work with. They are easy to blend and are quite long-lasting. Since they come in a plethora of colours, you’ll be able to find a good dupe for a higher end eyeshadow easily. The only minus point about having them come in so many colours and finishes is that these gorgeous eyeshadows are not named. Wouldn’t it be fun to name them? Instead, they come with a number and an alphabet signifying their finishes. The four colours in the photos are –

  • Shine Square 42 – A gorgeous chocolate brown with silver and copper shimmer running through. It contains 3.2 grams/0.09 us oz of product.
  • Shine Square 44 – A stunning moss green with tiny gold shimmer particles. It contains 3.2 grams/0.09 us oz of product.
  • DS Square 483 – A gorgeous navy blue with silver and cobalt (yes, cobalt) shimmer running through it. It has 2.5 grams/0.09 us oz of product.
  • Matte Square 363 – This taupe eyeshadow is the most versatile eyeshadow in the entire quad. Being greyish-brown, it’s ideal for creating shadows and depth. It contains 2.3 grams/0.08 us oz of product.

THE PALETTE: The entire palette is magnetic. And the strength of the magnet is bonkers. The palette itself is sturdy and tough, unlike most of the other palettes available today. The palette is a little pricey, but it’s so worth it. Inter-changing the colours within the palette or to another palette can be quite a task since de-potting these shadows is like a war. Yeah, this palette is that strong.

PRIICE: The price of an empty palette depends on how many eyeshadows you’d want. This quad (meaning four eyeshadows) cost 700 INR around the time of purchase. As for the eyeshadows, they usually cost 400-450 INR.
