Review: Avène Thermal Spring Water.

Avène Thermal Spring Water.

Hello, everyone. Today’s the third day of Skincare Week. I bring to you something that’s indispensable from my skincare routine. It’s a confusing/puzzling product but I’ll try my best to break it down for you.

Here’s a link that will directly take you to the composition of the Avene Thermal Spring Water.

THE PRODUCT: Let me address the obvious – yes, this is a mist. Technically, you can also call it glorified water. That being said, there’s something unique about this mist.

Unlike other mists I’ve tried, it is fragrance-free (superb for sensitive skin-types!) and the nozzle sprays out a very fine mist. It doesn’t irritate the skin. It doesn’t dry out the skin in the long run.

It is extremely soothing on the skin and feels very refreshing when you spray it on. It will reduce redness, calm down skin irritations and even restore sensitive skin. It’s even safe for babies!

There are several uses for this product but I find myself using this immediately after cleansing (usually after my nightly Double Cleanse), almost as if it were a toner. I also use it whenever my skin feels dry or irritated. I occasionally use it when I use one too many powder makeup products. You can use it whenever you feel the need to, honestly. It’s become an indispensable part of my routine. When I run out of it or stop using it, I start to see a void in my routine.
