What’s in my pouch?

You probably couldn’t care less but I have had the pictures raring to go for the longest, longest time. So… here we are.

I’ve been carrying this pouch for the last five, six years? Yes, I realise that’s a question. I’m unsure of how long I’ve been toting this pouch around. Let’s just say it’s been a long time.

Anyway, I pop this pouch into my “main bag” of the day. If I’m going to Uni, I pop it inside my bag-pack. If it’s elsewhere, I pop it inside whichever satchel or cross-body bag I’m using for the day.

By the way, a former classmate of mine once called my beloved floral pouch “something a grandmother would carry”. So, I like it even more now. I like grandmothers and I like florals. Come at me.

The most important thing in my pouch is, arguably, a decent-smelling hand sanitiser. I prefer ones that are marketed for kids. They smell the least like alcohol and the least off-putting. The one I was using at the time I took these photos is the Zuci Junior Green Apple Hand Sanitiser.

Then, I always keep some alcohol swabs handy. I am such a butterfingers that I drop things all the time. It can be  frustrating, so, it’s always useful to have alcohol swabs at your disposal. They are quick and efficient.

I also have terrible, unpredictable nosebleeds. That’s what the cotton buds are for. To stick them up my nose and go about my day. I also use them to smudge lip-colours. Not after I stick them up my nose, ew. Get your mind out of the gutter.

I also keep an untinted moisturising lip-balm. I prefer the Nivea Essential Care Lip Balm over others but somehow, in the photos, I have the one from Neutrogena. It’s okay, I suppose. It’s got SPF 15. So, I can’t really complain.

As for tinted lip-balms, I tend to steer clear from them. But I love, love, love sheer and glossy lipsticks. I’m such a fraud. I always keep the Etude House Dear My Glass Tinting Lips Talk (in ‘RD302 Swag Red’) in my pouch. It gives a nice flush of colour and I like the smooth formula. Also, the case is adorable.

I also typically carry whichever lipstick I’ve got on for the day. I don’t like touching up, though. But there are times when I do.

I also have a hand cream handy. Hahahaha. That was funny to me. Sorry. I never use it, though. My girlfriend carries one from Skinfood that smells like mint chewing gum (it smells like Centre Fresh, you guys) and I typically just use that. The one I carry is from the Tony Moly X Pokémon collection. Bulbasaur’s on it and it’s in the green tea variant. It smells good.

I carry a compact mirror that my aunt gave me as a present. Thank you and I you too.

I’m very serious about my breath-mints. The best one I’ve tried till date is the original Fisherman’s Friend. It’s expensive. It’s strong. It’ll keep you awake. It’ll buy you lunch. Even the random and wonderful Jeff Goldblum approves.

I’m a fan of perfume samples and roller-balls because they are easy to carry around. And let’s be honest, I live in a stinky country. A little perfume never hurts. The L’Occitane Cherry Blossom Roll On Eau de Toilette Instense is a pleasant floral perfume and it just brightens up my day whenever I get a whiff of it. It’s good. Expensive, but good.

I also carry bandages and tissues in my pouch but I guess they didn’t make it into the photographs somehow. Odd.

Anyway, this was a fun little post. I should do this more often. Let my hair down a little. I don’t even have long hair. But, still…

Have a wonderful week ahead.

Midori
